Azure Security Architect

POSITION SUMMARY

The Sr. Azure Security Architect (ASA) should be able to understand client’s business initiatives and requirements and map these business needs into technical and Azure security architectures. An ASA should be able to present and explain the portfolio of Microsoft Azure security solutions to clients, guide them through requirements gathering as well as architect and deliver a solution.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

May perform any or all of the following duties:
Meet with Patriot’s clients to research and understand requirements for solutions centered around Microsoft Azure security technologies.
Pre- Sales (50%)
Speaking to clients using PowerPoint Presentations on Azure Security Solutions
Demonstrating Azure Security Solutions (Screen Sharing)
Develop statement of work (SoW) with task lists and estimated level of effort (LOE) for various types of projects in support of these solutions
Design, build and deliver the optimal technical solution to address the client requirements
Hands-on Deployment of Azure Security Solutions: Sentinel, Defender for Cloud, and Azure Arc)
Audit client environments and deliver Azure security recommendations
Lead incident response efforts in response to client breaches
Assist the sales team in identifying and qualifying opportunities with new and existing clients
Collaborate with Patriot’s Professional Services team on developing deployment models
Build high level of customer relationships that are trusted and respected
Continuously update the skills and knowledge to keep up with the changing landscape and customer needs
Other duties as assigned

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS/CORE COMPETENCIES

Prior Consulting Experience is a preferred but not a strict requirement
5+ Years of Azure Experience if no AZ-500 certification (or 3 years of Azure Experience with AZ-500 Certification)
Familiarity with common security standards such as PCI, HIPAA, Sarbanes Oxley, ISO 27001, NIST, or CIS
Strong understanding and knowledge of risk assessment, security assessment, and vulnerability management using Azure solutions
Strong knowledge of Azure cloud architecture and its security concerns
Comfortable presenting to CIO/CISO/CTO solution demonstrations and virtual whiteboard sessions
Ability to work cooperatively with sales, services and the Project Management team
Demonstrated passion for Microsoft technology, solution design and self-study
Previous experience working in collaborative team environments
Excellent verbal and written communication, organization skills and detail oriented (English Language)
Excellent presentation skills (Including Creating PowerPoint Presentations)
Comfortable being on Camera
Experience working for a systems integrator is preferred
Stable Internet Connection (for Voice over IP Communications and Screen sharing)
Ability to work 8 to 5 in a US Time Zone
Demonstrated passion for self-study, and self-learning to keep up with the changing security landscape and customer needs

Home Office environment, fast paced, high volume of activity at times, demanding and deadline driven - project based

Occasional travel - 5% (this is a work from home position, but we sometimes travel for Training or Company Events, approximately once per year for 2 to 3 days)
